You will hike through untouched nature, swim in crystal-clear alpine waters, and sleep under the Milky Way—all supported by our expert family logistics and guides.

Highlights:

  • The Silver Lakes: Hike to the jewel of the Egrisi Mountains, Tobavarchkhili, famous for its shimmering silver waters reflecting the jagged peaks.

  • Alpine Swimming: Cool off in fresh mountain rivers and take a plunge into the glacial lakes at 2,600m (if you dare!).

  • Authentic Culture: Enjoy traditional Supras, local wine, and a warm family atmosphere at our guesthouse before and after your expedition.

  • Healing Recovery: Soak your tired muscles in natural sulfur hot springs after your descent.

Day 1: Welcome to Georgia

  • Arrival: We pick you up at Kutaisi Airport and drive you to our family home in Doberazeni.

  • A Warm Welcome: If your flight lands in the morning, fresh breakfast will be waiting.

  • Settle In: Time to unpack and relax. You can take a refreshing walk by the river, go for a swim, or take a short hike to stretch your legs.

  • Intro to Georgia: We share stories about Georgia's past and provide essential local tips.

  • Insider Bonus: We take you to our secret spot in the canyon where you can actually swim in the crystal-clear water (away from the crowds).

  • Evening: We gather for a special Supra featuring a tasting of Chacha (Georgian grape vodka) to build strength for the trek ahead.

Day 3: The Trek Begins (River Camp)

  • Morning: We start with a hearty breakfast and pack our gear. We depart straight from our home, joined by a local shepherd and 3 pack horses that will carry our tents, camping gear, and food for the journey.

    • (Upgrade Option: For an additional €300, you can rent your own personal horse to ride for the duration of the trek).

  • The Hike: We begin with a relatively easy hike along the river valley. It is the perfect warm-up day—not too strenuous, allowing you to enjoy the lush green forests.

  • Base Camp: We pitch our tents right next to the river.

  • River Swim: The water here is fresh and clean—perfect for a cooling swim after the walk.
